Take a pause. Soften. Soak it in.

Laura Erickson
Laura Erickson is the visionary founder of Mountain Kula Yoga and Director of the Annual Kula Yoga Fest. After two decades in the outdoor and ski apparel industry, her love for yoga, Ayurveda, and holistic healing led her to open the studio in 2021 as a peaceful, inclusive space where people can remember who they truly are and live with greater awareness.
Her journey began in 2005 at Eastern Mountain Sports, where she was introduced to the Ashtanga Primary Series by colleague Robert Moses.
What began as a physical practice soon became a lifelong path of growth, study, and inner transformation.
She has studied Ayurveda with Cate Stillman, completed a 300hr Yoga.Psyche.Soul training with Ashley Turner, and a 9-month immersion in Heart-Centered Leadership through the University of Santa Monica. Her continued studies include Bhakti with Ananda Das, Yoga Nidra and Restorative Yoga with Katie O’Connell, Theta Healing with Jeffrey Charles Warren, and Meditation with Yashoda Devi Ma.
In 2025, Laura is launching The Conscious Kula—a transformational journey in spiritual growth, deep inner work, and collective healing through ancient wisdom teachings and heart-led practices.
Rooted in service, spirit, and community, Laura brings presence, generosity, and soul to everything she offers. Off the mat, she’s often outside walking her pup, skiing or biking with her family, or cheering on the sidelines as a soccer mom.
