Spa Yoga

w/ Christine Lewis and Emily Fitzgerald

SPA Yoga is a gentle, floor-based slow-flow practice inspired by the calming principles of Fluid Yoga. Designed as a full-body sensory journey, this class invites you to soften, unwind, and reconnect through candlelight, soothing music, aromatherapy, and lots of nurturing hands-on assists (if you want them).

SPA Yoga encourages deep relaxation and inner stillness. As the body's subtle energies gently open through slow, intentional movement, you’ll be guided into an extended savasana. You will drop into profound rest, a renewed sense of taste and you'll get a piece of chocolate to savor! Expect a tranquil atmosphere, beautiful scents, and a deeply nourishing experience for body and mind.

Christine Lewis

Christine completed her 200 hour YTT in 2021, and is continuing her education with a health coaching certification and obtaining her 300 hour YTT. Working as a massage therapist and being introduced to yoga over 20 years ago, she’s excited to continue her service in the healing arts. Though life has a way of throwing one off course from time to time, yoga has always remained fully in her heart. Slowly but surely the ball is rolling! Though uncertainty still creeps up, Christine reminds herself to take a deep breath and whisper to herself "stop getting in your own way." She's learning to embrace her humanity and hopes to share how yoga has influenced her life beyond the physical practice, and shows her that it’s truly A WAY TO SHOW UP IN THE WORLD.

Emily Fitzgerald

Emily recently completed her 200-hour YTT at Mountain Kula Yoga with Fluid Yoga, an approach to movement that allows for freedom and exploration while aligning the body in a safe and efficient manner. She believes yoga is for every body shape and you do not need to be flexible or strong to begin a practice. Emily currently teaches a slow flow on Tuesday evenings in Randolph and a vinyasa flow Saturday morning in Lancaster. She can be found hiking with her chocolate lab, trail running or catching sunrises. She began her yoga practice in 2019 in search of community and connection. Emily found a deep love for the ancient practice which encourages mindfulness and self-discovery. Emily hopes to bring students deeper into their bodies by connecting with their breath and becoming aware of their minds. Emily encourages beginners to give it a try and she strives to provide a friendly, safe and inclusive environment for everyone. Emily provides hands-on assists with your consent.
